·             Add-On Toolkit: The Add-On Toolkit is a Java applet that will run on your companies intranet. The toolkit is a collection of tools to make your EMPAC experience more productive. All interaction with the EMPAC database is accomplished by using the base packages and views. No additions or changes are made to the EMPAC programming structure. There is no client side code to keep updated with the exception of a one time install of Sun Java Virtual Machine. Here is a list of the tools that are currently available and more will be added:

  •       Project Copy: This tool allows you to copy a project and all budget lines to a new project number.

  •       Project Work Order Copy: This tool allows you to copy all work orders assigned to a project to a new project. This is great for outage work that requires a large capital project to rebuild key components.

  •       Work Order Scheduling: This tool provided drag a drop scheduling of work orders. The backlog is displayed as well as the resource availability then work orders are dropped on to the schedule dates.
